Santa Fe is a really good place to land in "for now." Opposite of NYC but when you're asking big questions you usually need to slow down enough to listen for the clarity that will eventually come. Good luck! Love how you shared your favorite cafe - it got me thinking....
You're so lucky--I adore Santa Fe! I've visited there many times and lately have been feeling the urge to get back there. Re: New York, love the place but have never been able to understand living there. It just feels so....hard.
I’ve only been to Santa Fe in the summer, but I’ve heard it’s magical in the wintertime! NYC is tough, I lived there (and hated the daily life) but l enjoy short visits at various (not touristy) parts of the year (is it even possible to avoid tourists in the city?). I hope your days are filled with warmth, calmness and quiet inspiration.
Thank you, Jessica. I very much appreciate your kind words. Wishing you the same. ~ And I believe it's still possible to find quiet moments in the city. It just involves a lot of thinking. Where shall I go? What time will it be quieter? 😊😊
I know exactly how you feel about New York. Lot to love, but a lot to hate too.
In 2008 I moved to Columbus, Ohio. For awhile I thought that was my Forever Place, but it wasn’t in the end. You’ll probably find yours sooner or later.

You're so right, I have to slow down for a minute or two. ~ And i just love writing in coffee shops... so more to come.
I feel ya. Consider a library. When I'm traveling it's been kinda fun to check out the local library as a place to write.
I sure will! That would be lovely!

It's a magical place. Next time you come and visit, let me know. We can get together for ☕️. 🤗

A little Hatch green chile! Makes everything better. Safe travels!
🤗🤗 I’m now in Santa Fe. Taking a break from overthinking... and ready to focus on writing. 🥰
I'm starting my new book right now, too. Here's to less overthinking and more flow! 🥂
Cheers to a year of fantastic productivity!🥂

I will. It just takes a little longer. 🤗🤗
